This is a good hostel for a cheap crashpad with private cubbies. The kitchen is very good. The wifi can be unstable or weak. You can practice your Spanish with the couple that runs the place. The location isn't far from the train but the cost savings disappear with those costs if not a special.
The staff donu2019t speak a word of English. There is no 3 bed room rather itu2019s a 4 bed room and it smells moldy and the sheets look disgusting. There was confusion on what room we were supposed to get. There is no enforcement of rules like no smoking and quiet hours
Clean facility located in the banking area of Panama City. Walking distance to sea wall and couple restaurants. They only have AC in the dorm area and only runs from 9pm until the morning. Rest of the time it is turned off.
I am always cooking for myself so I enjoyed the kitchen a lot! The dorms were super good! I liked it! There was a problem with a person that got robbed during his stay there, pay attention to your things! But it was not a problem from the hostel! There was lack of atmosphere I donu2019t know why because the common area was good! Maybe I wasnu2019t lucky! It was in a really safe zone, I could go anywhere on my own! The staff didnu2019t know much about Panama so that could have been better!
The gentleman at reception was so friendly and made me feel at home. Only good things to say about my time at the hostel, would book again when returning to Panama City.
